Our in-house dive center, Aquatech, makes it as easy to dive as 1-2-3. With our professional staff to help you, you can decide on which type of diving you will prefer for the day.
We have a complete stock of rental gear from regulators and BCD to technical side mount harnesses.
Nitrox fills are always available and our experienced team of instructors and dive masters will help you set up. Aquatech has been the headquarters for cave, cavern, and open water diving for 15 years.

 Akumal Reefs
The Great Mayan Reef System runs along the Caribbean Coastline of The Riviera Maya.
With the clarity of turquoise tinted waters, your diving will be more than inviting. With less than a 10-minute boat ride, you will discover over 30 different dive sites.
You will also find the 80-degree water enjoyable throughout the entire year.
Our boats are located on our same beach for easy access, so in no time at all, you are ready to plunge into this incredible world. If it is a night dive you are looking for, as a change of pace, we offer night diving with a minimum of four divers.
For beginners to advanced divers, our nearby reefs offer something for everyone. We have beautiful dive sites at depths starting at 30ft. with canyon fingers running to 100ft. plus.

The Mesoamerican Coral Reef stretches over 600 miles from the northern tip of Cancun, south to the islands of Honduras. This enormous coral wall is second only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
This wonderful creation lies just outside our front doors. We offer daily one or two tank dive trips to these beautiful decorated, still unspoiled reef systems, all less than 10 minutes away by boat. Visit Bad-Head Reef, Wonderland, Grouper Canyons, and Escuela, just a few of our local sites.
The soft and hard corals, sponges, and crustaceans, like lobsters, crabs, and shrimp, make up this fabulous marine biodiversity. Both the loggerhead, green, and leatherback turtles complete this underwater world. More Info >
 Cavern Diving *(see rates)
All open water divers can dive the fresh water caverns of the Yucatan, called "Cenotes" . These are windows of the numerous underwater Aquifer systems of our unique region. Our cavern sites are all within 20 miles from Aquatech and each with easy access. The crystal clear water, shallow deep (20-50ft), moderate water temperatures (77F), little to no current, with huge, non-claustrophobic caverns and passages is truly a unique underwater dive experience.

The Caribbean Coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, the Riviera Maya, offers the perfect characteristics for underwater caves and caverns. It has a soft, sedimentary limestone bedrock giving water the capability to carve out the a network of caves.
The peninsula is a giant bowl collecting the tropical rains and the caves meander slowly underground towards the sea carrying the water. This horizontal drainage collects more volume as it nears the coast. Finally emerging out among the many huge springs or outlets with such names as X'el-Ha, Yal Kul, X'pu-Ha, Tan-Ka, Chacalal and many more. This incredible geological combination of filtered, crystal clear water and shallow depths creates the world's BEST area for safe cave and cavern diving. And, as a bonus, all these caves that were once dry during our last Ice Age 20,000 years ago, allowed the opportunity for nature to produce an artistic array of speleothems and decorations. You may choose to experience a safe cavern or cave course and find that you will not only learn, but have a wonderful experience seeing beauty of a different world. Enjoy a wide variety of instructions at the Aquatech Dive Center . With our white sandy beach as a back drop, each day you spend with us, you will thoroughly enjoy and welcome.  Caribbean Day trips
Our most popular day trip is the 5-hour Robinson Crusoe Boat Excursion.
You can snorkel and fish along the way to the deserted beach called XAAC. Once you are there, feast on a tropical Mexican Picnic of ceviche, grilled fish, guacamole, and other delicacies.
Our fishing boat has a shady top, a downrigger and two outriggers for more fishing opportunities; lots of fish to catch along the way. The "Caleta" our inlet has its own small Mayan Temple with a beautiful snorkeling reef encompassing the entire area.
You will surpass the day with delight. We also offer 2-hour snorkel trips by boat to some of the nearby lagoons.
 Cozumel
Just off the coastline of The Riviera Maya, you will find an area of excellent dive sites, on Mexico's most favorite island in the Caribbean Sea. Cozumel Island is a true coral island and is known to divers around the world for it walls of beauty.
We will very happy to organize your dive trip to the island for you with professionals. Please note that almost all the diving in Cozumel is moderate to strong drift diving so you will really move through the water. There are approximately 55 popular dive sites, some on the walls themselves and other shallower dive sites close to shore.
