Our Staff
Our instructors and guides are the BEST in Yucatan. Why? They dive everyday and are responsible for the discovery and exploration of many cave systems. There is no one with more experience, enthusiasm, and professionalism than the AQUATECH team.
Owners
 Nancy DeRosa
- Full cave certified since 1986.
- Certified PADI divemaster.
- First cave diver to explore Mayan Blue, PonDeRosa, Balanchanche, and Taj Mahal.
- Exceptional underwater model whose photos have appeared on many diving magazines and publications.
- Co-owner of Aquatech/Villas DeRosa.
 Tony DeRosa
- Full cave certified since 1986.
- Certified PADI divemaster.
- First cave diver to explore Mayan Blue, PonDeRosa, Balanchanche, and Taj Mahal.
- He enjoys "flying" through the large cave passages with a DPV.
- Co-owner of Aquatech/Villas DeRosa.

 Lena Ericson
- Has lived here in Mexico since 1993.
- She is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
- Full Cave Certified
- Cavern and Intro to Cave Instructor
- From Sweden, speaks Swedish, English and Spanish
- Has a university master's degree as an economist in sustainable development
 Roberto "Tito" Tuz
- Full cave certified since 1997.
- PADI open water dive master for 12 years.
- Originally from Yucatan, Mexico.
- Lives in Akumal with his wife and 3 children.
- Speaks fluent English and Spanish.
- Working at Aquatech for 6 years.
- Doubles for “Charles Bronson”.
 Wayne Nefzger
- Full cave certified since 1994.
- Certified PADI divemaster 1992.
- Deep Sea Fishing Expert.
- Owns and operates the deep sea fishing boat - "Anejo".
- Known as "The Magician". Keeps Villas DeRosa and Aquatech running smoothly.
